Fortress Peak Kupena/Varga/Latnitsata, village of Sarnitsa
village of Sarnitsa in Haskovo, BulgariaThracian, Late Antiquity and medieval fortress at peak Kupena Varga/Latnitsata is situated on the peak of the same name, at 2.67 km north-west in a straight line from the centre of the village of Sarnitsa. The walls of the fortress are made of crushed stones bonded with white mortar. Remains of the fortress wall are visible only in the northern part of the ridge.
