Soufli in Evros, GreeceIt is a 'living' thematic museum of silk production and processing, located in a neoclassical building of 1886, which was renovated and inaugurated in September 2008.
The combination of exhibits and videos, which are displayed on screens as well as PDAs, offer visitors a unique and exceptional museum tour. Throughout the year, silkworm rearing takes place so that the visitors can meet this unique insect.
Recently, the museum was awarded the 2015 Gold Tourism Award in the category of “Cultural Tourism”.
